The bold look of Jessye includes a regal mélange of purple, double flowers tightly packed along the racemes. These racemes reach up to 12" long, hanging down nicely from an arch or pergola. You'll really get that draping effect, with precious flowers raining down above your head. Like any wisteria, Jessye grows with strong, woody, curving branches. You can train it up a wall--right around a window you'd like to open for fragrant breezes, over a strong structure or keep it as a standard in your garden border.
