This daffodil is the gold standard of spring bulbs—literally. Its bold, 4” golden-yellow blooms appear like clockwork year after year, brightening gardens, borders and naturalized spaces with cheerful, trumpet-shaped flowers. These terrific naturalizers multiply freely and have a long blooming season, lasting from early to mid spring. A heritage variety first introduced in the 1930s, it has stood the test of time for good reason: it’s hardy, dependable and always a standout.

A Floral Legacy: Perhaps the best-known group of narcissus, trumpet daffodils are known for their large flowers, with trumpets as long as—or longer—than the flower petals. This variety holds onto its classic charm, with a bold trumpet form that has graced spring gardens for nearly a century. Dutch Master is ideal for growing in borders, rock gardens, containers and naturalized areas, and will reach up to 18” tall.

Built to Last and Excellent Naturalizers: Dutch Master is a powerhouse when it comes to naturalizing. Plant it once, and you’ll see more and more blooms every spring with little to no maintenance. These bulbs multiply underground and come back stronger, making them perfect for planting in groups, drifts or along woodland edges. For the best garden performance, plant bulbs in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade.

Critter-Proof and Award-Winning: With the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, this variety is recognized internationally for excellent garden performance. While rabbits and deer may enjoy snacking on your other spring blooms, they’ll steer clear of Dutch Master—meaning your daffodils stay beautiful longer.
