For savvy gardeners, the first harbinger of spring isn't the robin, or even forsythia—it's the Lenten Rose. Recent breeding has yielded crosses that display flower colors that we could only have dreamt of a few decades ago. Tropical Sunset, with its lemony yellow shades, is so aptly named; it's a distinctively fresh look as compared to its more common pink, white and red counterparts. An evergreen ground cover in warm climates, tough as nails everywhere else. Glossy green, leathery leaves are the backdrop to cupped, golden-yellow flowers with distinct red veining. These plants were selected for their notable vigor, showy floral displays and excellent bloom production, as well as that unusual coloration. A perfect late-winter pick-me-up, this vigorous, showy hellebore is only available from Spring Hill. Plant outside a window and let its colorful blooms warm your spirits during the cool winter and spring months. Blooms in late winter to mid spring. Helleborus 'Tropical Sunset' HONEYMOON™ series
