A beloved favorite among peony collectors and home gardeners alike, our Fawn Peony is a fascinatingly unique shrub. Our growers call this fragrant variety a true standout among double pink peonies, with a delightful pattern that is totally its own. Layers of crepe-like light pink petals decorated with dozens of darker rosy-pink spots give The Fawn Peony a stippled appearance. These flowers are perfectly formed and held aloft on stems so strong that they rarely need staking and hold up to rain without leaning. A true achievement in hybridizing, Fawn mixes nostalgia and modernity in an exciting new peony. Paeonia lactiflora 'The Fawn'

Peonies have few requirements: give them a sunny well-drained location, plant 2-4' apart, with the eyes (new buds at the crown) no more than 2" below soil level and apply fertilizer or compost in spring. They take a while to establish, often 3 years before the first bloom—but the wait is worth it. They are heirloom quality. Let them grow undisturbed and they will bring joy to you and your loved ones through the decades.
