"Tardiva" is a variation of the French word for "tardy," and the Tardiva Panicle Hydrangea makes a truly fashionable late entrance. Blooming later in summer than other hydrangeas, the Tardiva Hydrangea is coarsely-textured and statement making, with loosely-packed white flowerheads that mature to a pinkish-red. Growing to a height of eight to twelve feet, Tardiva is a suitable choice for an informal hedge or border, while its unique form lends this hydrangea a gorgeously relaxed, hip look. The white flowers that bloom on new wood every year transform to a soft pink as the bloom matures are incredible butterfly and pollinator attractors. Stunning as cut flowers they are wonderful in a vase fresh or dried to use in fall and winter arrangements, crafts, or decor. Hydrangea paniculata "Tardiva"
