That means less fuss for you and a cleaner-looking border through the bloom season. Its compact size also makes it useful in smaller planting pockets where taller coneflowers may sprawl or crowd nearby plants.

The large, daisy-like flowers open in vivid magenta-pink around a prominent cone that ages darker as the season moves along.
