Gaillardia blooms are always a fun summer treat, but these take the cake with their fluted petals. They stay low, around 18-24" at maturity, and make some noise at the front of the border, creating a distinctive edge to separate the gardening from the lawn. This trio is also a good choice for container gardening, because these varieties have that level of interest you'd need to make a potted plant fill out a space. They're low and loud enough for a window box, too. But the best part is how long you'll have blooms.
