The brilliant child of Edith Wolford X Breakers, the Stairway to Heaven Iris is a vigorous variety, with strong, tall stems and plentiful buds to climb up towards the sky. Its coloring is also celestial — fluffy white standards float above the rolling ruffles of the light blue falls.
Even a #1 rhizome may take a couple years of building energy before delivering years of reliable, low-maintenance perennial color. KickStart Iris are guaranteed to bloom in year one. Plus, they're already developing more stems for year two... or divide and share them with an envious friend. Also, we only selected reblooming iris varieties for this series, so no matter if you create a mass planting of Blatant, or surround it with other KickStart varieties, you'll have an extra-long iris season to look forward to.
