Samaritan Jo Clematis is the perfect variety for those who can't get enough Clematis blooms. If deadheaded, it will continue to flower for up to 6 months, from late spring to early fall. Its silvery–pink sepals are lined with a thin stripe of violet around the edges, a romantic color combination that makes the whole flower look like vintage lace. Unlike many Clematis varieties, Samaritan Jo will grow and flower in partial shade. This compact–to–medium Clematis flourishes in a container, or with a trellis or obelisk to climb. Clematis 'Samaritan Jo' PPAF

In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the YELLOW pruning category. It blooms best on old vine. Use caution when pruning to retain healthy stems from last season for best flowering.
