The fruit is exactly what you'd want in a peach—the skin develops a lovely red blush, the fruit is soft and juicy. The pits are "clingstone" which means they're better attached to the flesh and harder to remove, however the benefit of clingstone peaches is that they tend to have a juicier, sweeter flavor than freestone peaches.
