When the first of these magnificent 6" blooms appears in midsummer, you'll be blown away by the rich colors and sheer numbers they produce. The dark eyes create a floral focal point in the garden, while the lightly reflexed, elegantly edged petals in a lighter shade add yet another dimension to this outdoor display. The hardy plant is very well branched and produces a hefty 10-15 flowers per stem during the initial midsummer bloom. Later in the season a second round of flowers will appear to oohs and aahs all around. Butterflies and other beneficial pollinators will love MacBeth's floriferous nature. Best planted in full sun to part shade, though daylilies are quite tolerant of a number of soil types as well as drought conditions. Hemerocallis 'MacBeth'

Is Jumbo the Way to Go?
This daylily is available in a Jumbo Bareroot size. Ideal for gardeners who hate to wait, jumbo bareroots have a considerable head start over our standard #1 size.

Jumbo bareroot benefits:

  • Instant landscape impact
  • Faster plant growth
  • Earlier blooms—likely within the first year
SAS comparison
Our jumbo bareroot, multi-fan clumps have larger, more established root systems to produce more blooming scapes per plant than standard #1 bareroots.
