There's a really good reason to call this one La Luna, or "the moon." The massive blooms can reach up to 10" across in a lovely ball shape, like a big full moon. The color especially reminds us of the moon, with light yellowy tones that make La Luna almost glow in a garden bed. You'll treasure its celestial beauty in a mixed dahlia border or cropping up all over a large en masse planting. It's absolutely a sight to behold. If you want to add a little moonlight into your home, La Luna is a fantastic cut flower.

We love this as a cut flower, thanks to its long, straight stems and massive blooms, but we're not big fans of La Luna in a container. With the blooms high and the pot low, it leaves a lot of empty space between, and isn't as easy to stake if need be. You could grow it in a pot, but you'll get much more impact out of this variety in the landscape. Dahlia 'La Luna'
