This sedum has succulent, evergreen foliage with a nice spreading habit. As an extra surprise, tiny star-shaped flowers completely cover this plant, transforming it into a yellow mound in early summer. Well-drained soil is best for sedum and this cultivar is an excellent option for controlling erosion in dry soil. Improved Golden Sedum is valued for how quickly it grows and spreads as a ground cover.
