- planting instructionsDig a hole large enough to spread out roots. Position graft knot 2-3" below soil level in cold climates and right at ground level on warmer zones. With plant at proper level in hole, fill two-thirds with amended soil. Fill remaining area with a slow stream of water and allow to soak in, settling soil and removing air pockets. Once soil is settled, back fill the remaining space with soil and water lightly to assure good moisture.
