This collection includes a fairy watering her little garden, her cottage and 5 mushrooms – all pleasingly color coordinated, handcrafted and of excellent quality. Beautifully detailed and hand painted, the fairy is 3" high and made of durable resin. We recommend bringing her indoors for the winter to keep her looking good. If you have her in a sunny spot, you could spray her with UV-blocking polyurethane to help prevent fading over the years.
The fairy cottage is made from high-fired, all-weather stoneware. It has a wonderfully realistic bark texture with whimsical details like the stepping stones at the entrance, a little mail box beside the door, and rounded windows.
Its removable leaf roof is glazed, so its color won't fade and it is impervious to weather. The cottage is 8 1/2'' high and 8'' wide. Last, but not least, the mushrooms are all handmade and glazed, and they are also impervious to the weather. Included are one large 10'' -tall orange-red mushroom with golden spots, one 8''-tall yellow mushroom with green and red flecks, and three smaller mushrooms that are 6-7'' tall. These come in shades of chartreuse and green with spots and flecks of red and yellow. Since they are all hand crafted, there will be slight variations, adding to their uniqueness and charm, though your mushrooms should be very close to those in the photograph.
