Singin’ The Blues Iris Collection brings together three tall bearded irises chosen for cool blue color, proven garden value and a longer season of interest. You’ll receive Villa Erba, Stairway to Heaven and Sugar Blues—each offering its own shade of blue, from soft wisteria to blue-and-white contrast.

Extend the iris season

This collection helps you enjoy blue iris color across more than one moment in spring. Villa Erba and Stairway to Heaven bloom early to midseason, while Sugar Blues blooms midseason and is known for reliable rebloom. Stairway to Heaven also reblooms, giving you the benefit of a second flush in late summer to early fall when conditions are right.

Plant award-winning beauty

Stairway to Heaven brings major American Iris Society recognition, including the Dykes Medal. Sugar Blues has a strong reputation for dependable rebloom, including in colder regions. Villa Erba adds refined European-style color with wisteria-blue standards, blue-white falls and a sweet fragrance. Together, they give you a collection with more depth than a single variety can offer.

Enjoy fragrance and cut flowers

All three selections bring tall stems suited to the border and to cutting. Villa Erba and Sugar Blues are both noted for sweet fragrance, adding an extra benefit when planted near paths, entries or cutting gardens. Choose practical perennials for sunny gardens

These tall bearded irises thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, they are drought tolerant, and deer and rabbits tend to avoid them. Plant the rhizomes shallowly, with the tops near the soil surface, and divide clumps every few years to keep bloom performance strong.
