A rich, red reblooming iris named in honor of the veterans of the Iraq War, Lest We Forget Iris stands proudly at 37 inches tall. Introduced by hybridizer George Sutton, Lest We Forget was awarded an Honorable Mention by the American Iris Society in 2012. Gleaming upright standards shine in guardsman red, while the falls contain a wash of sunset gold. Gold beards complement the ruffled red flowers. Lest We Forget is a vigorous rebloomer, opening once in early spring and again in late summer. Set this iris near other reds, yellows, or whites to truly showcase its beautifully varied petals.
