Explore the world of Asian maples with First Flame, an elegant garden tree that explodes in colors of hot red-orange in spring. First Flame's small, star-shaped foliage transitions to cooler flames of orange and yellow by mid-spring, then turns to green with hints of soft red in summer.
The first of Iseli Nursery's Pacific Rim Collection, First Flame is a member of a unique set of maples derived from the rich diversity of both Korean maples and Japanese maples. The resulting cultivars feature the beautifully cut, statuesque branches of a Korean maple, with hardiness suited for cooler zones.
