This spectacular new Lenten Rose was selected for our collections because of its tremendous vigor, large number of blossoms, rich flower color and fully double form. Hellebore, or Lenten Rose, is a gardener's dream plant! It's shade loving, carefree and easy to grow—even in clay soils. Additionally, it's pest and disease free, deer resistant and heat and drought tolerant. Blooming for over 4 months—late winter into spring—Dark & Handsome will live for 50 years or more and makes for a wonderful evergreen groundcover in a wooded area or the shade garden.
