The Atilbe Collection adds color to shady sites in midsummer.
This collection includes one each of the following plants for one low price!
Eden's Odysseus Astilbe: a wonderful color burst for any shaded area! Soft, cotton-candy pink plumes explode from contrasting dark green foliage. Left on the plants, the dry plumes continue to add interest well into winter. Or cut them to create magnificent indoor arrangements. Grows 22-26" tall. Space 20-24" apart.
Straussenfeder Astilbe: accentuate borders, rock gardens or pond edges with these graceful, cascading plumes. Sometimes called 'Ostrich Plume', this astilbe arches and nods as it reaches up 28-32". Salmon-pink florets cover the tapering panicles in July and August. Foliage starts bronze, turns dark green. Space 20-24" apart.
Red Sentinel Astilbe: In midsummer, rich crimson flower panicles rise above elegant, feathery foliage. Equally attractive, the ovate leaves start out a brilliant red in spring then turn dark green. Beautiful in borders, rock gardens, containers or as cut flowers. Grows 20-24" high with a similar spread.
Key West Astilbe: This miniature, reblooming astilbe is ideal for edging a shaded walkway or perennial border. Bright carmine-pink flower plumes appear for several weeks in mid summer and again late in the season. Grows just 12-15” tall with bronze fernlike foliage that looks great all season. Plant 12-15” apart. PPAF.
#1 field-grown plants. Deer tend to avoid.
