This is a fantastic accent tree. I have had it 2 years now, and it is a perfect umbrella shape with minimal pruning (which is expected for a weeping tree). This is my favorite accent!

Awesome Tree

This is the best tree I could have bought for my rock garden. I bought mine back in 1986. It is about five feet tall which is fine with me. I was not looking for height and I can't remember what the height possiblity was back then. The trunk is about six inches across and I have never pruned it. The new branches that grow do eventually bend down and some are going across the ground which is fine with me, "less bark mulch". It looks like a water fall with the flowers traveling down the garden. My garden is on the side of a hill. I have not been able to find one around here that doesn't look like a Palm Tree. When it arrived the branches were long and draping already which made me happy. It has grown into a pretty dense tree as well. I am ordering another one for my 31yr old horse's grave. Shalah and I had been together since she was born.

A beautiful little tree! Sadly, it only blossoms for a week or 2. It is gorgeous, when it does blossom though. Otherwise, it just has green leafs for the rest of the time. I love it though!

snow fountain cherry tree

I have had this beautiful small tree for 5 years and in order to encourage it to grow to a 12-15' height, I have had to prune it in the lower branches and thin it in regards to the branches that weep outward instead of downward....... so the "no pruning necessary" is false! I have been frustrated in the past several years and through my own intelligent discemination have determined that pruning IS necessary to encourage this beautiful tree to grow to its full extent possible - from viewing the other trees similar that are horribly dwarfed looking, squat and dense from no pruning. Mine is finally growing UP!
