I love the Jackmanii Clematis not only because of it's beautiful blooms but this is one plant that the deer didn't bother in my yard. Then we had to move so I took my chances and dug it up with the trellis and moved it to our new home, it adjusted to it's new home without missing a bloom.

This plant makes a beautiful show of purple flowers and I get compliments on it every year. It is hardy and grows to be large and healthy. It is my favorite clematis, and I have several different kinds.
