Planted one at the beginning of May and it's already 8" tall and wide! It popped up practically overnight and it's been growing by leaps and bounds since. It's already bigger than several of the potted plants I purchased at the same time. Very satisfied. Can't wait to see it bloom!

I ordered 3 of these in the spring of 2007. They came as bare roots and I planted them right away in my north facing garden off the porch. Wow! Within 2 weeks I had stems with foliage coming up! The plants were nice and tall and pretty bushy. I trimmed them back the following spring and they returned quickly and I had 5 to 8 plumes on each one. I highly recommend this for your shade garden. There's more for the shade than just hostas and ferns. Go for it- great product!
