I purchased this lilac (I have many) all usually take 3 years or more to bloom. I was surprised this one bloomed in second year and is catching up in height to some that are years older than it. Very beautiful flowers exactly like the pic. Lilacs need well drained soil and allot of sun :)

Sensation Lilac

It took a year for this to bloom, but now I have beautiful deep purple 'stars' every year. My plant is not very bushy yet as it's still young but everyone loves the color and the pictures I take of it. Exactly as shown, dark purple with white edges make a unique lilac for your yard.

I planted this lilac a year ago and it has never bloomed. The plant has grown quite a bit from the small twigs it came as, and looks healthy but I was really hoping for at least one bloom like in the picture. I hope that it will bloom next spring.

Slow Grower

I purchased this plant in 2008 as a stick. It made it throught the winter. However, it is just over a foot tall and probably has about twenty leaves on it. It didn't bloom this season either. I expected this to have grown much larger this year than it did.
