Planted these in a location that gets full sun except in the early morning. Not a single one came up. I don't know if these were duds, but it certainly wasn't worth the "value" price.

These poppies came as roots. I planted and only one grew before it died. Be aware that poppies are very particular, especially with clay soils.

I planted five of these in partial sun/shade two weeks ago and just noticed that three of them are about 3" high already. I followed the planting instructions: "Plant crown 2-3" deep in well dug humus enriched soil". I dug out some bad soil (clay) about 6-8" deep and replaced it with the good stuff.
