I bought these 3 years ago. They bloomed well the first year, even better the second and third. Now, they never came back up this spring! I miss them and can't figure out what happened. They were fantastic when they were there. They were the only flowers I had in my walkway bed and they are missed!
We ordered these last spring and they didn't bloom, I thought maybe we missed the season, but then they never came up this year, while my regular primrose came up without a problem.
I got this last year to put along the walkway of my house which is complete shade. I was looking for something small, but with some height to encourage people to stay on the path. Last year was a late growing season, but this plant still grew really well in tough soil conditions and bloomed for many weeks adding lots of character. I'm looking forward to seeong how well it comes back this year; however, it didn't attract butterflies.. but maybe this year.
