I liked the strawberries but not the extremely cheap plastic pot in which the dirt is falling through the holes in the side. I would return the plastic one but I do not want to pay shipping. The strawberries are doing great though.
Got them today and they were all growing leaves already. I did what another poster said and used a plastic bag to keep the potting mix in. Worked GREAT! Cant wait to see them grow.
I got this yesterday. The pot that came in the kit was very cheap and plastic. not worth the extra 20 dollars. The plants look good and hopefully will give us good berries. If you are considering the kit, i would say NO! just stick with the plants.
All of my strawberry plants looked very healthy when they were shipped to me...next day delivery at that! It took a little work to make my soil accomodating, but they will do great where they are. Every plant had greenage on top and VERY healthy roots.
I planted this just 2 short weeks ago and can't believe how big they got. It amazes me everyday when I look at it. Just waiting to see some buds but still a little early for that. It was a little tricky to plant. I found that putting a clear garbage bag in and poking holes to push the plants through that worked the best. Otherwise the dirt was coming out the holes. Planting instructions for this would have been nice but thats what youtube is for!
