At firsr I didn't think it was that good (2 astilbe.-2min.bleed hearts-3 hostas), but I planted them and kept them watered and fertilized and they are beginning 2 look very nice. Now I am satisfied I will order another pack.

Limited variety

I received 7 hostas and 3 bulbs - not much of a variety. Very disappointed in the limited selection considering the 5 star reviews boasted the variety they received.

False Advertising - Buyer Beware

Based on the picture and description, we expected a reasonable "variety" of "mixed perennials." Instead, we received ONE bag of EIGHT Hostas. One plant does not comprise a variety. Customer service said it was a "mistake" and explained that we should have received only one other plant. Even though we argued that filling a mixed grab bag with several multiples of a single plant was misleading and disappointing, Spring Hill refused to offer us any compensation; not even one single quantity perennial! Buyer beware!

I received my grab bag with my order in which I had also ordered the Hosta Bargain Bag. All they sent me was a second Hosta Bargain Bag and three cyclamen bulbs. Not happy with variety at all, particularly after having read all the other reviews that mentioned having received such an interesting selection of plants that included bleeding hearts, astilbe, hellebores, bluebells...

Not Worth the price or the wait!

Very, very disappointed. Got 6 plants. Don't know where the "Jumbo" comes from. The plants average less than 2 feet tall. The picture IS NOT what I got. Got coral bells, polemonium blues & 1 toad lily. Last time I ordered, I got the wrong plants. Now I got ground covers. I'm very disappointed. Had so plans for this Jumbo Shade Grab bag. I feel that I grabbed moss!!!

Not Worth the "Bargain"

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!Tried the "bargain" bag. Based on the pic...I thought it couldn't be a bad grab bag. The "jumbo" name must refer to the size of the box that the plants came in. Got Coral bells, toad lily & polemonium. Not ONE of the plants that were in the catalog. I'm 2 for 2. First time I ordered, I got missing plants. Although I have to say the customer service that I received was great....The bargain that I thought I was getting with the jumbo grab bag was not. I'm really disappointed...since I had lots of plans for the grab bag & my garden....I guess I will have to stick to seeing the plants myself before buying. It was not worth the wait!!!

Disappointing Mix

Based upon the other reviews and the picture/description, I was expecting a little more of an exciting mix. Instead I got 1 Hosta Grnd cover Bargain bag (8) and 1 cyclamen hardy (3). It is marketed as a grab bag so I took the risk but wish I hadn't.
