I received these plants in early June and they have grown enormously!! There are flowers all over it and butterflies are quite a frequent site as well. I love this bush and how quickly it grows and will order it again if I need to fill in another area in my yard. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fast growing and beautiful bush.
This butterfly bush came as part of the 'jumbo sun grab bag." This little bush was my very first item from Spring Hill and I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to admit I was disappointed when I pulled out a 9 inch tall bush with 3 spindle-y branches. It looked so small and weak I was afraid to plant it in the ground...but I did...and it is doing great! I'm in Ohio (zone 6A), planted it in full sun on June 1. By July 1, it was about 18 inches tall and those 3 little branches each had 3 inch long flower clusters! By Aug 1 it was about 24 inches and has several more branches. It tripled in size AND bloomed within 60 days! Order with confidence, and don't be worried when a tiny plant shows up...that plant wants to grow strong and big!! I found out about Spring Hill from my neighbor- she bought her butterfly bush in June of 2010-- as of July 2011, hers is 4 1/2 feet tall! It's so fun to see the baby bush in my yard and the 1 year old, hardy bush across the street. A++++++++
Well when I ordered the butterfly bush it came in the mail and the ups people had tossed so badly that they looked damaged. So I called Springhill and they sent me more the after my phone call.The next shipment was in good condition so I planted and they are wonderful. I thought I had missed the planting stage but planted any way. A few month later they started to bloom and they look great even seen some butterflies. Thank you sending me the new shipment of flowers. Your company stands by it's product.If something is wrong you will make it right.

I ordered these plants a little early and was not quite ready for them when they arrived. I have kept them watered and in a protected area and they are doing great and even have small blooms on them. I think they will do great in my border beds. A friend ordered them also and is very happy with hers also! very sturdy plant arrived in good condition!
Had a bare spot in my yard where a gorgeous redbud tree fell victim to carpenter ants. Yanked it out, planted the butterfly bush, and am amazed on how fast it grew, and how beautiful it is.
Bought two Pink Delights that grew in the first season (summer 2008) from tiny sticks to nearly 4 feet tall and wide, and they bloomed like crazy all summer. This April they're lush and green, and have already grown nearly another foot. Spring Hill's Pink Delight butterfly bushes even outperform the ones I bought near home in gallon-size pots.
